The first step was to try calligraphy in a regional script, which in my case was Devanagari script to understand the basic construction of letterforms. Then 2 pencils were tied together and used as a tool to create a basic outline that mimicked the translation style of calligraphy done with a pen. This was then refined to fit the parameters generated. Then a final trace was made to be taken into the digital software Glyphs.
